face-of..?

Do you imagine a face when you reply to comments? Do you visualize one when you read someone's blog? How does the mood of the writer determine one's looks? Or for that matter the general tone of one's writing. Cheeky, funny, 'sing-song' kinds, et. Some people are actually very very different outside of their blogs. They might write a certain way, humorous, serious, whatever...but their real persona in flesh and blood is pretty different. They might write very well but might not be very good speakers. And vice versa...

We all have something in common, as writers. And that is an imaginative mind. And naturally a writer has to visualize a lot. We visualize our characters, we visualize situations, things..

But come to think of it, I never really visualized any of my fellow bloggers.Never really mattered to me. Hmmm, interesting.

I imagine you. For that matter I have a face for all my readers. I wonder how off I am actually!

You are around 5'10", glasses(cool ones), slightly plump (don't be mad at me) and a brown Indian! LOL!

Now you go!

I disagree with Gabs - I picturised Phat as wiry, staring intently at the screen whle writing and curling one end of his mouth into a smile when he reads the comments :)
Btw, check out postsecret.blogspot.com.

sqrl/nt: voice files...yeah, not sure if I'd like that as well
gabby: slightly off the hook :) am 5'7''...fair by indian stds (if there is one) and...*shrug* yeah, brown by US; plump...hmm, maybe (need to pick up those bells gathering dust in my room) :) aaaand, uh huh, no glasses :). so there you go! And 's far as you go...hmmm, lemme see - 5'6-7", curly hair, oval face, loud laughter, glasses (maybe, not sure), big eyes, sharpish nose. You normally like to let your hair untied. You like to wear loose fitting clothes, though I won't imagine you as plump. You're kinda on the fence, i must say...
hb: am not wiry...but you're bang on about the smile curling around my mouth..heheh..(as I do now)...

hmmmm...I thought I imagined the faces of the people I read...but I realised just now that I don't :)

angel: That was your sub-conscious mind doing the imagining. That happens partly due to your mind's 'assumption' that you 'know' the faces behind those blogs, but in reality you're nowhere near it... :) Happens with me all the time.

Phatichar - Omigod, not bad yaar! Especially with the hair-untied thing :)

I'm an inch shorter than your guess though...& no glasses, well technically. I'm a contact-lens lover.

PS: I used to think I was damn fair too till I landed up in Boston...these are ONE PALE LOT I tell ya! :) They need some nice Indian sun I say.
